January Favorites

Monday, January 30, 2017

I love watching monthly favorites videos on YouTube so I decided to share my January favorites with you all! These are products or other random bits that I've been loving this month!

Starting with my favorite fashion items of the month I've been loving my Zara shoes that I purchased in the sale, they give off an Alexa Chung style to every look. I'm always loving my Topshop 'Mom' jeans - it takes a lot of will power not to wear them every single day. Also, these Urban Outfitters sunnies haven't left my face all month, they go with everything and add a vintage vibe to every outfit!

As for the couture shows this month Alexandre Vauthier and Dior stole my heart. Alexandre went for full glam while Dior was a fairytale equipped with starry makeup and floral headpieces. I also loved the Chanel show which you can read more about here!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I finally found the perfect medium to full coverage foundation that leaves your face looking flawless and glowing.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
This product is amazing at covering imperfections but the applicator is the best part! It's flexible unlike other doe foot applicators and makes it very easy to apply onto problem areas.

Anastasia Brow Wiz
Amazing at filling in sparse areas of the brow while still looking like natural hairs strokes because the tip of the product is very small.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude
Great at making your lips look plump and full thanks to the natural color of the liner.

MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy
I haven't stopped waring this shade since I purchased it! It's super comfortable for a matte lipstick and the shade is a very 'Kylie Jenner' color that is very on trend at the moment.

A British band that has an 80s feel to their sound and with a lead singer whose voice resembles Alex Turner at times... LOVE! Check out the song 'Sweet Honey'.

The XX
Their third studio album dropped this month and I've been playing the track 'On Hold' nonstop!

Father John Misty
With a voice like honey and lyrics that make you want to transport back to the seventies, FJM can do no wrong in my eyes. I've been loving his song 'Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' and countless others this month.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Taking a break from reading new releases and I finally found time to finish this classic this month. It's a heartbreaking story and "one of literature's most disturbing explorations into the dark side of romantic passion"... pretty much sums it up.

'Dynasty' editorial in Schön! Magazine
I really loved this makeup editorial this month with Caroline Vreeland as the model. Each look featured a different makeup brand from Tom Ford to Glossier! The whole magazine was beautifully put together but these striking images really caught my attention!
