Spritz Me

Ever in need of a makeup refresher or a midday pick-me-up? Look no further than these face mists listed below:

My first dive into the realm of facial mists was this rosewater spray. We went to the  penthouse of Glossier HQ where they presented us with testers of each of their products and when I spritzed this onto my face I was hooked. The smell and the feeling was sensational and every time I spray it I am reminded of my time in New York City.

"It's made with roses and aloe to hydrate, soothe, and leave you feeling fresh and awake."

Spray this product onto your face after you wash it.

I love this facial spray from Aesop! The girl working at the Wynwood location was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the products and when she said this also had a rose scent I knew it had to be mine. It's a rose petal infused spritzing hydrator and perfect for when you want to relax because the scent is so calming.

"Refreshing aromatic spray-on hydration for all skin types."

I always use this to set my makeup when I know that I will be out for awhile. Also, if you feel your face is too powdered this is the perfect way to add a subtle dew. It can also be used to add a 'foil' effect to your eyeshadow when you dip your brush into an eyeshadow and then spray this and apply onto the lid. It really adds an extra dimension to any shimmer shadow.

"A lightweight water mist that gently soothes and refreshes skin & finishes makeup."

I got this in the sale section of Anthropologie on a whim and I'm so glad that I snatched this baby up! Not sure about the 'anti-pollution' claims but this one has my favorite scent out of all of these. I love the citrus smell because it really awakens me when I spray it before applying my moisturizer in the morning.

"A fine mist that instantly forms an invisible protective, breathable barrier to shield skin from the aging effects of pollution."

My most recent purchase was the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water thanks to Into The Gloss and their video with facialist Isabelle Bellis. I bought it during our spring break 'staycation' and I sprayed it as we were laying out by the pool and it was so refreshing! This is fragrance free and is a gentle, fine mist. It's the last step in cleansing, first step to tone & refresh skin.

"Antioxidant-rich Thermal Spring Water refreshes, soothes, and tones skin. With a unique combination of mineral salts & trace elements that has been used in Europe for centuries."

Well now I realize I have a problem when it comes to collecting this skin care product.... but I hope this was helpful and that it inspires you to add this step into your skincare/ makeup routine!
