So It Goes

Tuesday, April 18, 2017

In a world where the art of print magazines seems to be fading, there are a few publications left that are a force to be reckoned with. So It Goes is a biannual magazine that shines a light on the creatives leading the way in industries such as music, art, and fashion.
I first got my hands on So It Goes at McNally Jackson bookstore in NYC and I've been hooked ever since. What I love about this magazine is that they capture creatives that are defining a point in time with their work. From their feature on Dean Strang during the Netflix hype of 'Making a Murderer' or having Millie Bobby Brown grace the cover as 'Stranger Things' took over our world. Their editorials are so well photographed and the styling is always on point, so if you're looking for a new source of inspiration go and grab a copy.

Issue 9 has just been released featuring the likes of Father John Misty, Jemima Kirke, and Hope Sandoval. Get yours here

This is the editorial that first caught my attention as they captured Felicity Jones perfectly in Issue 1

My favorite shoot of the late skateboarder Dylan Rieder from Issue 3

"The magazine is a meeting place for a global network of photographers, journalists and other creatives. In a digital world, So It Goes is a reminder of the power of print magazines have to touch lives and reveal the issues, places, and people that deserve to be brought closer to home."
