Chanel Resort 2018

Yesterday Chanel's 2018 Resort Collection was showcased on an ancient Greek themed runway. Resortwear was created to present travel apparel, but this season Karl Lagerfeld not only traveled to Greece, but also took us back in time.

The theme was first inspired by a bust of Venus on Coco Chanel's mantle and turned into a beautiful scene at the Grand Palais in Paris. The runway was decorated as ancient ruins and the models resembled goddesses in lace-up sandals, armor-inspired tops, flowing dresses and lots of gold accents.

The looks above, have Greek details like the gold headbands, sandals and gold accessories; but they have the classic Chanel look with tweed sets.

Flowing gowns in dark colors looks beautiful with the gold accessories.

The models look like the fiercest fighters in Chanel's stunning gold gladiator-esque skirts, lace-up sandals and armored tops.

These two looks were my favorite from the collection. The sheer robes are so beautiful and elegant. SO AMAZING.

So check out the collection and see which ones are your faves.
