Chanel Pre Fall 2018

Thursday, December 7, 2017

Yesterday, Chanel celebrated it's 16th Metiers d'Art in Karl Lagerfeld's hometown of Hamburg, Germany.
A newly-opened concert hall was transformed into a catwalk, where top models like Kaia Gerber and Anna Ewers showed off dark, nautical ensembles inspired by 1960's Germany.

Classic Chanel tweed in mod-shapes were topped off with a sailor's cap.

Models trotted down the runway in tights paired with tailored jackets.

But the collection wasn't completely masculine---beautiful flowing skirts gave some of the  looks a more graceful and elegant feel.

Overall it was a beautiful collection that I would love to get my hands on.
