LFW Autumn + Winter 2018

Tuesday, February 20, 2018

Each day at London Fashion Week is a treat with new and compelling trends being featured that I can't wait to try! So far next autumn/winter is going to be all about fierce outerwear, leather and lace, white boots, and shimmering dresses fit for an aristocrat. Take a look at some of my favorite collections so far from this LFW season:

CHRISTOPHER KANE

Leather, lace, and everything in between. I'm obsessed with Christopher's take on sex appeal and the see through lace garments with feather detailing.

REJINA PYO

I'm such a fan of Rejina's collection and I want to be dressed from head-to-toe in her creations. The accessories were adorable and those snakeskin boots are to die for. The menswear inspired suiting paired perfectly with feminine handbags and classic pumps.

ERDEM

Held in London’s National Portrait Gallery this show was full of tweeds, velvets, and shimmering dresses. The collection was inspired by Adele Astaire an American dancer, stage actress, and singer (Fred Astaire’s elder sister) who married the son of the Duke of Devonshire. “She was completely independent and then married into this very formal aristocratic family” Erdem said. “She gave up her career and disappeared into Lismore Castle in Ireland. I became obsessed with this girl and I kept coming back to the idea of her”.

MARQUES'ALMEIDA

Take your bohemian summer dresses and add on a pair of boots and you're ready for F/W 2018 according to Marques'Almeida.

ROKSANDA

Coats, puffer jackets, and blankets were all seen to keep the Roksanda girl warm for the upcoming seasons.

EMILIA WICKSTEAD

"English high-society style". Ali McGraw in the seventies classic Love Story was the inspiration this season. I loved the checked prints, bib collars, adorable shoes, and chic outerwear.
