MFW Autumn + Winter 2018

Milan Fashion Week is officially over and it's time to round up some of the season's best shows. These collections definitely proved that the eighties are Fall's biggest trend so far with thigh-high boots, faux fur outerwear, and oversized menswear being the key pieces. Love what the designers in Milan had to offer and they definitely didn't hold back the glam.

Margaux Hemingway was the muse for this 80s inspired collection.
It was also heavy on denim, suede fringe, prairie frills and Western detailing.
The second half of the show was more about black velvet, pink lace, and tulle.

Pretty silk dresses, feminine suiting, and AMAZING outerwear all wrapped into one epic show.

American Psycho the novel was said to have been the inspiration for this collection. Lots of oversized tailoring once again and a neutral palette perfect for Autumn/Winter.

This is my first time taking a look at this designer and I was blown away! I love the delicate lace dresses mixed with power suits and wide-brimmed hats.
"Her models looked like guests at a lavish wedding in the country."
"Beccaria took her cues from Marianne Faithfull in her Rolling Stones days, when she might’ve borrowed attenuated tailoring from Keith or Mick."

Fendi added more trench coats, boots, and baby doll dresses to our wish lists!

Last but not least, this line by Giorgia and Gilda Ambrosio was full of 80's glam with pearls, velvet, thigh-high boots, and ostrich feathers galore. This collection was titled Bellisima and inspired by Italian women.
"This wardrobe is like that of an actress. It has pieces for the stage and for daily life."

Bring on Paris Fashion Week!
