Balmain Fall 2018

Thursday, March 8, 2018

Fashion month has ended, but plenty of shows are stilling swirling around my head.
The Balamin Fall 2018 collection left the biggest imprint of all. The metallic, iridescent Balmain Army decked out in their futuristic gear, was one of my favorite's of the month.

According to Olivier Rousteing, the collection was inspired by the year 2050. One can only hope that in nearly fifty years we are all walking the streets in sequins and silver.

There was still a tinge of Parisian found in the future. Nude, tweeds and a touch of denim marched down the runway on some of the more 2018-esque outfits.

Not only did I love the clothes, but also the beauty. The models were fresh-faced. The wild, bold looks were balanced out with their clean, barely-there make-up.
