The Ordinary

It's been a month since I picked up some products from The Ordinary so I thought it was time to give an honest review on the brand. The brand is known for having unbelievably low prices for oils and skincare products that usually cost a fortune, but the idea is that you layer each oil for your skin type. I went to two different locations in London, one in Shoreditch and one in Covent Garden. In the US they have two locations in New York and recently they opened one in the Miami Design District!!

This is by far my favorite as it instantly brightens and plumps up my skin. It rivals my Glossier Super Bounce but this price beats the Glossier one which retails for $28. Makeup up applies beautifully on top as well. This formula supports hydration and should be applied to the face AM and PM before creams. Retails for $6.80.

For extra hydration and for glowing skin I apply this oil right after the hyaluronic acid. The directions  say to apply once daily to the face ideally at bedtime after application of water-based treatments which is what I do. When you wake up in the morning your skin feels as soft as can be. Retails for $9.80.

This is the moisturizer that I picked up from this range and I love it! It glides onto the skin seamlessly and sinks in quickly so that you can apply makeup on right after. I also use it at night and I'm obsessed with the results! Retails for $7.70.

This product is a chemical exfoliant that I like to use twice a week. If you haven't checked out my obsession with chemical exfoliants you can read about it here. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck and leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and continue applying the three products mentioned earlier^. The product looks like blood in the bottle but when it's spread onto the face it turns into a light pink shade! It also has a slightly burn/ tingling sensation that makes me feel like it's working. My skin feels refreshed afterwards and I love the results! Retails for $7.20.

After testing out these products I am in love and I want one of everything in this range. Unfortunately their best sellers are usually out of stock which is a bummer but totally worth putting yourself on a waitlist for!
