Resort 2019 Favorites

The fashion industry never sleeps, and the fact that the Resort collections for NEXT YEAR are out is kind of stressful... but the show must go on and this is what we have to look forward to!

Designers aren't going for the normal, jet-setting to the Maldives vibes this time around. Instead, they have made collections for the girls taking a city break or galavanting off to the rainy country-side and I'm loving each designers interpretation.

The location for the Louis Vuitton show was filled with paintings and sculptures, very artsy. The pieces in this collection were very art deco as well and the over-sized jackets were a nod to the 80s.

I turned into the actual heart eyes emoji when I saw the rain-soaked location for the Dior Resort show! (Although the rain drop stains gave me some anxiety on these stunning garments...) This collection is perfect for escaping to the English country-side and hitting up the stables thanks to the equestrian inspiration that the designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, referenced.

I love a good runway show, but I'm also a fan of a look book when it's done in a creative way while showcasing a new collection. Valentino made wearable, seventies inspired looks consisting of silk head scarves, wide-leg denim, stacked-heel loafers, and some amazing boots with VLTN on the side.

Simple, classic, in a new and modern take. Love this collection and can't wait to recreate some of the looks!
