PFW Spring + Summer 2019

Fashion month is coming to an end and last but not least is Paris Fashion Week.
PFW is always my favorite because some of the most noteworthy fashion houses such as Dior, YSL, Chloé, and so many more are on show. I love this history of the older brands and to watch how they've evolved, and to watch how newer brands (Rochas and Jacquemus) shape the fashion industry.

I haven't included the Celine show as it was a complete failure in my opinion, but there is a whole post about Phoebe Philo you can re-read and reminisce on the old Céline.

Here's a look at how the French are envisioning Spring/Summer dressing for 2019!

John Galliano
This was one of my favorite shows and I will definitely be drawing inspiration from it for SS19.

Isabel Marant
Disco vibes and the white boot trend isn't going anywhere.

Valentino
Valentino was a dream in every way! The shapes, the accessories, and the makeup were all so fabulous.

Giambattista Valli
Obsessed with every look from this collection!

Altuzarra
Pointed heels, sea shells and plunging necklines were seen at Altuzarra.

Chloé
Bohemian silhouettes are Chloé's specialty.

Paco Rabanne
Less chain-mail and more silky textures were seen at the Paco Rabanne show.

Alexander McQueen
Punk princess is the only way I can describe this show. So beautiful and elegant with a twist of rock and roll.

Sonia Rykiel
Open knit-wear and casual cool silhouettes.

Hermès
Loved the neutral tones and cuts of each piece in this collection! The hair and makeup were also a favorite of mine this week!

Saint Laurent
Models walked on water at the Saint Laurent show. Animal prints were mixed with tough leather and metallic pieces.

Ellery
The Ellery presentation was minimal with a modern take.

 Christian Dior
Dior played off of ballet dancers and even had a live performance during the show! Headbands, leotards, ballet flats, and the vintage saddle bag are all back.

Givenchy
I loved both the women's and men's looks at the Givenchy show.

Lemaire
Great everyday staples were given an oversized look at the Lemaire show.

Stella McCartney
Stella blessed us with pretty pastels, cool girl boiler suits, and classic wardrobe staples!
