Cream Dream

Each year when fall rolls around, most of us tend to ditch our light and bright colors in exchange for muted neutrals.

This year, my go-to has been cream-colored sweaters. They're simple, cozy and go with nearly everything. Creamy sweaters are an easy way to look sophisticated without going the extra mile.
It's a piece that never goes out of style.

Skimming through some of the Pre-Fall and Resort 2019 Collections, I noticed quite a few cream and nude jumpers getting thrown into the mix.
Take a peek for some cozy inspiration!

Pre-Fall 2019 Collections

The 2019 Pre-Fall collections are here and this really excites me as dressing for the cooler months is my favorite. The warm neutral tones, layering, and dressing in soft and cozy textures is the best! Only a few collections have been released but these are my top three at the moment:

BURBERRY

Riccardo Tisci is keeping true to his first collection for the brand by making it more of a street-wear vibe. It's a fresh new feel for this iconic fashion house and I'm loving it. He still provided elegant trenches and accessories but with more wearable basics.

VALENTINO

Last night the Valentino show was presented in Tokyo for the first time. Pierpaolo Piccioli declared that he loved the culture of Japan, "It's so modern with a sense of tradition which is romantic, not nostalgic-it's part of the present".

JIL SANDER

Creative directors Lucie and Luke Meier have kept the thoughtful minimalism of the brand while creating a collection that's modern and playful.
“It’s important that in fashion, quality is back, really at the forefront, because we shouldn’t be so wasteful; we should make things that last a feel good and are not disposable.” said Luke Meier.

CoverGirl

I was beyond excited when the news broke that Covergirl is now cruelty-free!
It's the largest beauty brand to get the certified leaping bunny. This means that the overall product and the ingredients have never been tested on animals. They also no longer sell their products in China.
This is great because this move could possibly push other major brands to take the leap.

Well, I've now bought some of my first Covergirl products in years.

Covergirl is such an iconic brand and its so easy for everyone to get their hands on. The beauty industry is heading on the right path.

The Outnet
With Black Friday right around the corner I've been gathering up a list of things I want to buy on sale. Then I stumbled upon THE OUTNET which I'm sure a lot of people are aware of, but I never actually gave it any mind. Since its launch in April 2009 by THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP, THE OUTNET.COM has established itself as the go-to destination for the global style-conscious shopper.
The website hosts a bunch of designer brands and even up and coming brands such as ALEXACHUNG and Ganni as well as long-standing brands such as Gucci and Chloe.

This site is a great way to start adding some high-quality designer pieces into your wardrobe without breaking the bank.

The website is also set up to help you find exactly what you need, whether that's a evening dress for an event or something more casual like a cashmere sweater.

There's also an accessories section for shoes, jewelry, and bags!

With new arrivals every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, shopping at THE OUTNET is guaranteed to take your style to the next level!

Style Icon: Candice Swanepoel

Style Icon: Candice Swanepoel

With all things Victoria's Secret at the moment, due to the many Instagram posts and behind the scenes looks on the big show, I'd thought it would be a great time to share with you some of the amazing looks of one of my style icons, Candice Swanepoel.

Candice has been walking the runway for years and apparently all the high fashion that's brushed against her skin has also brushed up her fashion. The girl knows how to dress, also, it's very easy to look stunning in every outfit when you have her body. Despite her long limbs, she  has great taste in clothes. I mean look at these red carpet looks.

And not only can she turn heads on the red carpet, she also stops traffic just strolling down the street.

She tends to stick to cool and casual or feminine and Bohemian.
No matter how she mixes it up, she always will be a style icon.
