Classic Denim
The fashion world is claiming that denim jackets are back in, but I don’t think they ever left the wardrobes for many of us.
The likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and many other fashion stars have been seen sporting them lately. However, denim jackets are a classic in my book and should never be abandoned.

Denim jackets are great for summer time, or those places that don’t get too cold (Miami). It gives you just enough warmth on a cool summer night.
Another reason to never stray away from the denim jacket is that it can make any outfit “cool”. It gives a relaxed look to prettier pieces like sundresses. They’re great for casual days too. Sometimes you just want to pop on something quick and easy. They look great over a plain t-shirt and jeans.

Lastly, denim jackets are a classic. And you can’t ever get rid of a classic.

Valentino Fall 2019 Couture

Valentino Fall 2019 Couture

"Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli is the couture designer who matters most in 2019." Vogue said this in their review on the house's Fall 2019 Couture show. The designer’s new offering was very much a continuation of its predecessor. “The only way to make couture alive today is to embrace different women’s identities and cultures,” Piccioli said in a studio preview.

"His mood board reflected that notion with its mix of Avedon portraits, Guy Bourdin advertising shots, canvases by the Italian Renaissance mannerist Rosso Fiorentino, and paintings of Diana Vreeland. “The eye has to travel,” he said, referring to the documentary about the famous editor. And travel Piccioli did, adding what he called folk elements, like ornamental hats and komondor wool fringe, to his exquisite garments." - Nicole Phelps

Summarizing any more would defeat Piccioli’s point about individuality. Put simply: The cumulative effect of all this beauty was irresistible. The audience was on its feet even before the designer walked out for his bow with his atelier staff. When Valentino himself began kissing his congratulations to each and every one of them, many of the typically impassive editors could be seen wiping away tears.

Such a stunning show and I can't wait to see these looks portrayed in editorials and on the red carpet.

Ultra Feminine

Frills, bows and tulle seem to be everywhere this season.

The ultra-feminine style has been in nearly every magazine, red carpet and runway.

I'm fond of the idea of light, girly dresses heading into summer, especially after being bundled up head-to-toe all winter long.

This Summer's Shade of Pink

This Summer's Shade of Pink
The shades of pink are heating up as we head into summer.

Pretty, pastel pinks have been the "It" color for some time now. It's been a favorite for a girly touch on masculine suits.

Feminine and fresh is the trend this spring, so ballet pink has been the favorite color for skirts, shirts and everything in between.

However, as we get closer to summer, I've noticed a more daring shade of pink has come into the spotlight.

Hot, bright pink is everywhere at the moment. It was a hit at the Met Gala with the likes of Lady Gaga and Doutzen Kroes.

Skimming through online shops, like Zara and Mango, the luxurious color can't be missed.

It adds an extra pop to an otherwise simple look.
