All Bronzed Up

All Bronzed Up

Bronzer has never been truly appreciated by myself until now. I've always popped a touch on across my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, but it was always the fairest dusting. However, now that I don't spend everyday in the Miami sunshine, I find myself applying my bronzer a little heavy-handed.

Bronzer has become one of my must-have beauty products, something that I HAVE TO apply with any makeup look.
Here are some of my favorite bronzers that may help get you out of your palest moments too.
Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow
Soleil Tan de Chanel
Rosie for Autograph Cream Blusher in Camisole Blush
Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk
Physician's Formula Bronzer & Light Bronze Pearl
Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer

The Glossier Cloud Paint and Rosie by Autograph blusher aren't actually bronzers but they give a gorgeous, reddish color that makes your cheeks look like they have actually been burned a touch by the sun. It's not a look for everyone, but I love the really natural feel that it gives to the skin.

Pre-Fall 2019 Collections
A runway show is always enjoyable to view but I love when brands decide to create look books instead. You really get a feel for the woman/man that the designer is trying to base a collection around. These Pre-Fall 2019 Collections were beautifully portrayed through photography and I'm obsessed with the Ellery and Each x Other look books in particular.

Celine Menswear Fall 2019

Celine Menswear Fall 2019

Menswear can often get ignored, but I think we all need to take some tips from the recent menswear collection... even the women.
The Celine Menswear Fall 2019 was put on display earlier this week and it was chic, cool and classic.

As much as I'd like to have a man who's decked out in Celine, I would love to be wearing the pieces from the collection. The slim trousers, loafers and sleek coats can easily be incorporated into a woman's wardrobe.
After drooling over the collection, I took a peak into my own closet and was able to make a few cool outfits inspired by the collection.

Sometimes we need a little inspiration to make some old pieces exciting again!

Maggie Rogers

Maggie Rogers

If you haven't heard the name Maggie Rogers yet, I don't know where you've been. Maggie first rose to fame in 2016 when a video of her song 'Alaska' was played to Pharrell Williams during a master class at NYU went viral. Ever since then her musical career has been on an upward trajectory.

She is from a small town in Maryland and began playing folk music at first, but after studying abroad in Paris she found a love for electronic music. She is a singer/songwriter and produces her own songs that are so original and make you want to get up and dance. I first heard Maggie in 2017 when her NPR Tiny Desk Concert was released and I've been obsessed ever since.

She's been busy on the road touring with mega acts such as Haim and Mumford + Sons.

In November she performed 'Light On' and 'Fallingwater' on SNL which caught the attention of millions. Even other artists such as John Mayer and Sam Smith were in awe of her performances.

In December she released her Spotify Singles where artists do an acoustic version of one of their own songs and a cover of another artist's song. She chose to cover Taylor Swift's 'Tim McGraw' and she really made the song her own. Even Taylor herself posted on Instagram that she loved Maggie's take on it.

This past Friday her debut album, 'Heard It In A Past Life', was released and it is a true work of art. Each song is a beautiful story and I'm so glad that this album is finally out in the world. On the album she kept her older releases such as 'Alaska' and 'On + Off' on the album, 3 singles, and 7 new songs. My favorites right now are 'Say It' and 'Back In My Body'.

In LA she performed at the Fonda Theatre where artists such as Sam Smith, Niall Horan, James Bay, Troye Sivan and many more came to celebrate her new album.

Maggie is about to start a tour that she is headlining so if she's coming to a city near you be sure to grab tickets!

Can't wait to see what the future holds for Maggie! x

The holidays have passed, but the cold, winter weather continues and many (including myself) are craving some sunshine. So if you're heading on holiday, or already live in the sunshine, it's time to start stocking up on some new swimwear.

I recently made a purchase with Zaful. I actually had never heard of the brand until Youtuber, Allana Davison said she bought some suits from Zaful in a recent video.

After watching the video, Zaful ads haunted my every click until I finally check out their website. I bought two swimsuits, each of them under $15. Super cheap, but I was scared to see them in person. Turns out, they're so cute and feel really nice. They looked just like the image.

I really recommend checking them out if you don't want to drop a lot of cash for swimwear!

The Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2019

The Golden Globes were this past Sunday, and with award shows losing their spark it's best that we focus on the red carpet. This year the stars were sparkling down the red carpet with glitter and shine being a key trend.

Bohemain Rhapsody's leading lady, Lucy Boynton, stole the show in my opinion with this Celine by Hedi Slimane dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Saoirse Ronan stunned in Gucci

Constance Wu looked like an actual dream in custom Vera Wang.

Nicole Kidman and Thadie Newton both shining in Michael Kors Collection.

Emma Stone looking very chic in Louis Vuitton

Rachel Weisz in Celine by Hedi Slimane and Cartier jewelry.

Shoutout to Timoth√©e Chalamet for breaking the internet with his Louis Vuitton sparkly harness ensemble by Virgil Abloh and Cartier jewelry.

Amber Heard and Emmy Rossum looking like royalty in their Monique Lhuillier dresses.

Rosamund Pike sticking with her go-to brand, Givenchy, and I'm here for it.

Loved Kiki Layne in Dior Haute Couture and Bulgari jewelry.

Irina Shayk in Versace and Bradley Cooper in Gucci.

Emily Blunt in custom Alexander McQueen.

Gemma Chan always stuns in Valentino Haute Couture and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Charlize Theron in Dior Haute Couture and Bulgari jewelry.

Rami Malek in Givenchy and Cartier jewelry.

Lastly, Julia Roberts killing it in Stella McCartney.

Can't wait to see what else the award season has to offer style-wise!
