This Summer's Shade of Pink
The shades of pink are heating up as we head into summer.

Pretty, pastel pinks have been the "It" color for some time now. It's been a favorite for a girly touch on masculine suits.

Feminine and fresh is the trend this spring, so ballet pink has been the favorite color for skirts, shirts and everything in between.

However, as we get closer to summer, I've noticed a more daring shade of pink has come into the spotlight.

Hot, bright pink is everywhere at the moment. It was a hit at the Met Gala with the likes of Lady Gaga and Doutzen Kroes.

Skimming through online shops, like Zara and Mango, the luxurious color can't be missed.

It adds an extra pop to an otherwise simple look.

Met Gala 2019 / Camp: Notes on Fashion

The first Monday in May is also known as Met Gala Monday. The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. Each year's event celebrates the theme of that year's Costume Institute exhibition, and the exhibition sets the tone for the formal dress of the night. The theme of 2019 was Camp: Notes on Fashion.

“The essence of camp is its love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration. The hallmark of camp is the spirit of extravagance. Camp is a woman walking around in a dress made of 3 million feathers.” - Susan Sontag

Lady Gaga (a Co-Chair for the Gala) in Brandon Maxwell
Gaga made a grand entrance with FOUR outfit changes, it was a performance that started the night off with a bang.

Harry Styles (a Co-Chair for the Gala) in Gucci
Harry looked like a rockstar from head to toe.

Lily Collins in Giambattista Valli
This look has to be in my top five of the night! The makeup, hair, accessories, and dress were all on point.

Emma Robert in Giambattista Valli
Another one of my favorite looks - the more tulle the better.

Hailey Bieber in Alexander Wang
Barbie in the sixties vibe and I'm loving it.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Oscar de la Renta
Old Hollywood glamour at its finest.

Ezra Miller in Burberry
He killed it in every way!

Alexa Chung in Alexa Chung

Lucy Boynton in Prada
She is always a favorite of mine on the red carpet and last night she didn't disappoint.

Naomi Campbell in Valentino

Katy Perry in Moschino
I think you'd find this if you looked up camp in the dictionary.

Gemma Chan in Tom Ford

Zendaya in Tommy Hilfiger

Kate Moss & Rita Ora in Marc Jacobs

Hailee Steinfeld in Viktor & Rolf

Elle Fanning in Miu Miu

Lily-Rose Depp in Chanel

Saoirse Ronan, Dakota Johnson, and Florence Welch were all part of the Gucci gang.

Kacey Musgraves in Moschino
Texas Barbie has arrived.

It was so fun to see everyone's take on Camp and how they combined it with their personal style.
